After we finished at Paddy's Market we boarded the coach again and headed off to the Majestic Sydney Opera House. When we arrived we were greeted my Melanie, our tour guide. We donned a head set and headed off. The tour started in the foyer of the grand building. Melanie described the three different stages that were on that level. Each stage was different and had a different purpose.

Final Day in Sydney
Our final day in Sydney brought us to Paddy's Market, the Sydney Opera House, the Opal Museum/Shop and the Top of the Sydney Tower. Another real busy day. Look for more info and photos later today.
The delegates were able to sleep in to a leisurely 6 am this morning! We had breakfast at the hotel then headed off to the coach to go to Paddy's market. Paddy's market is located in Haymarket Square. It is a great place to shop for souvenirs as well as fruit and items of everyday use. We were able to spend a little time there thanks to Patty, the leader from Michigan and Kerry, our delegation manager. Patty looked up the location prior to coming to Australia, and Kerry was able to make a little room in our schedule so we could spend a 1/2 hour there. I have to say it reminded me a little of the markets in Boston. I was able to pick up some great souvenirs and know that the delegates had a great time there as well!!
