Goodbye Australia

It is almost time to leave Australia. We have less than 24 hours here before boarding our flight from Cairns to Brisbane then Brisbane to Los Angeles. I have watched the delegates make many connections with their fellow delegates, as well as others they have met along the way. Even with the few hiccups we have had, I must admit this has been one of the best delegations I have ever seen. Not ONCE were they late!! We didn't have to leave anyone behind. Yes, I know I am saying this and we still have a day left. We have had only a few minor bumps and bruises, nothing more than typical for active, energetic middle school students. They are all coming back a little tanner, a little tireder and some even a little taller. One delegate is even a year older. We celebrated one birthday on this trip, Andy from Maryland celebrated his 13th birthday yesterday!!
